Saline Men's Soccer
Stephen Zampardo has been involved in soccer in some capacity for the
last 26 years and the Teaching profession for the past 11 years. A graduate
from Saline High in 1983, (before the sport of soccer existed in Michigan)
Stephen first played in the Ann Arbor club scene. His coaching experience
began under Head Coach Bill Browning at Ann Arbor Pioneer.
Coach Zampardo then took charge of his own program at Whitmer High School in Toledo, Ohio
where he currently teaches as a member of the Social Studies department. Establishing a new
standard of winning as a tradition for the Whitmer Panthers, Coach Zampardo’s team earned the
school's first-ever league championship in the sport of soccer. Stephen has a B.S. in History from
Eastern Michigan University, and a dual Graduate degree from the University of Toledo in
History and Education. He currently plays in the competitive South Eastern Michigan Premiere
Soccer League, and lists among his accomplishments his participation in the Midwest Regional of
the League of Champions national tournament.
