Sean Sturms started his soccer career with Saline in 1993 as a freshman.
He was on the JV team his freshman and sophomore years and joined
the Varsity squad his junior year. He saw the soccer program go from
club status to varsity status his senior year. He led the team with assists
his senior year and helped the team win the district title. He was also
awarded SEC Second Team.

Sean started as an assistant coach for the JV team in the fall of 1998. His understanding of the
game has also been valuable scouting games for the varsity squad.
Sean is Store Manager for MC Sports in Ann Arbor and is a Senior at Eastern Michigan University.
Sean has been married to Mandi for two and a half years. They have a beagle named Toby and
a cat named Witty. When Sean isn’t playing soccer you can see him in his garden or cooking
gourmet meals.
