The Sport in Society Lecture Series was created to focus on sport as a vehicle to teach
about race, gender, social class, global awareness and the history of our nation.
The 2005-06 lecture series has concluded. Plans are in progress for the next series with
a theme of “Sports and Leadership." Corporate and personal sponsorship opportunities
